Visit at OHB in Bremen April 2008

Now it was our turn to travel to Bremen, the center of satellite technique. We watched reverential the OHB center building. On it's top we went advised about our small satellite.

Prof. Manfred Fuchs received us in the entrance hall and told us about his satellites.

The meeting began on the top of the building on the last floor. Present were from left to right Dieter Seiwald, Barbara Willimek, Ludwig Orgler and Elmar Weiss. On the right side of the table Prof. Manfred Fuchs and Prof Indulin Kalnins.

But after that the day didn't reach it's end. On evening we were guided by Manfred Fuchs and his wife Christa into the famous city-hall cellar in the city-center of Bremen inclusive an interesting guidance through the wine cellar.

The work went on next day and the integration-room of satellite Sarlupe was one of it's highlights.

Many tecnical Details were told us cencerning an ORBCOMM satellite.

Finally we could view a Rubin satellite, something in our dimension of thinking.

We watched especially it's inner life and made a huge of photos in addition to our lots of questions.

On this big round table happened the last discussions. Block diagrams went drawed, Software was copied and explained. Slowly the shape of the satellite went clearer.

Packed with information and overfilled with impressions we said goodbye. Prof. Fuchs promised to come to Bozen soon to return to this onetime-school.
